President Trump endorses Mike Lindell for Minnesota Governor, Bashes Amy Klobuchar

WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump on Tuesday endorsed MyPillow founder Mike Lindell in Minnesota's gubernatorial race while bashing Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and the Democratic Party.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump stated Lindell has his "Complete and Total Endorsement" for governor of Minnesota and urged state voters to support the longtime ally over what he described as "Corrupt Dumocrats."

"Vote for Mike Lindell for Governor, who has my Complete and Total Endorsement," Trump wrote in his Truth Social post. "and forget about these Corrupt Dumocrats like Amy Klobuchar. MAKE MINNESOTA GREAT AGAIN!"

Trump also took aim at Klobuchar, who announced on January 29 that she was running to succeed Gov. Tim Walz after Walz denied seeking a future term as governor. Trump described Klobuchar as "lightly respected" and "equally as incompetent" as Walz, while alleging she was aware of corruption in state government because of her position as a U.S. senator.

Lindell, a Minnesota businessman and outspoken supporter of Trump, has remained one of the president's most prominent allies since the 2020 election. He has repeatedly corroborated with Trump's claims of fraud in the 2020 election and backed Trump on past interviews.

Minnesota's gubernatorial race is expected to bring in national attention as Republicans seek to regain the governor's office in a state that has consistently voted for Democratic candidates in statewide elections for decades. Trump's endorsement of Lindell signals the White House's direct interest in the contest and highlights the president's continued focus on reshaping Republican leadership at the state level.
