Cookie Policy
Martin Media LLC, a Florida company · Effective September 19, 2026
This page says what is set on your device when you use this site, by us and by the companies that run parts of it. Our own pages set cookies that keep you signed in and remember your shop cart. Our shop runs on another company’s platform, at shop.martinmediallc.com, and its pages set analytics and advertising cookies — including one that records how the page is used. Those are set on this domain, so your browser keeps sending them back here.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that the next page you open can recognise something about the last one — most often that you are signed in. Some sites also use them to follow you between sites and build an advertising profile. Our own pages do not. The shop’s do, and that is set out below.
The cookies we set
Signing in. When you sign in, our authentication provider stores a session so that moving between pages does not sign you out. Without it there is no way to stay signed in, which is why these are called strictly necessary — turning them off would break the members’ area rather than change how it tracks you.
Your shop cart. Adding something to the cart stores the cart’s id in a cookie called mm_cart, so the drawer can find the same cart when you come back. It holds an id and nothing else, your browser never lets a page from another site read it, and it is cleared when the cart is gone.
Sign-in forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, which may set a cookie of its own to tell a person from a script while you are on that form.
Your league on the Sports page. Choosing a league in the statistics sidebar stores that choice in a cookie called mm_sports_league, so the page opens on it next time. It holds one league’s name and nothing else, it is never joined to your account, and clearing it simply means the page picks a league for you again. A second cookie, mm_sports_all, records only whether the scores strip was last showing every league rather than one; it holds no league name, and choosing “All” deliberately leaves your remembered league alone.
These expire on their own, and signing out clears your session immediately.
How we measure our own pages
We measure the site in aggregate — which pages are read, where visitors come from, and where people drop off on the way to joining — using Vercel Web Analytics, operated by our hosting provider. It sets no cookies at all. Instead of storing an identifier on your device, it derives one from a hash of the incoming request, and discards that session after 24 hours. There is no identifier left on your machine, nothing that can follow you to another site, and nothing that survives a day.
Measurements are sent to a first-party endpoint on our own domain. Your viewing history, saved items and likes are yours alone: analytics cannot see them and is never joined to them.
Video playback is measured by Mux, who deliver our video, on members’ videos and on the public preview clips alike. It records how playback performed — how long it took to start, whether it stalled, whether it failed — and Mux receives your IP address, which they shorten before storing. It stores nothing on your device: we have switched off the cookie it would otherwise set. It is not advertising, and it is never joined to your account.
The shop’s pages are run by another company
Our shop is run for us by Fourthwall, at shop.martinmediallc.com. You reach it when you check out, and when you open the full returns policy from a product page. Its pages set:
- Google Analytics (two measurement properties), which counts visits and how people move through the shop;
- Google Ads conversion tracking, which records purchases against advertising;
- Microsoft Clarity, which records how a page is used — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — so the shop’s pages can be reviewed.
These are set by a third party and we do not use them.
They are set on martinmediallc.com, the parent domain, so your browser sends them with every request to this site, including to pages of ours that never use them.
What our own pages do not set
No advertising cookies of ours. The ads on our public pages are direct-sold and served by us. They do not follow you, they are not personalised, and no ad network is placing a cookie through our own pages.
No session replay by us. We do not record your screen and do not capture keystrokes or mouse movements on our own pages. The shop’s pages do, through Microsoft Clarity, as above.
Nothing we set builds a cross-site profile, and we do not sell or share what you read.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses. Every website receives this information simply by being visited; it is kept for security and troubleshooting, not to build a profile of you.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you see and delete cookies, and block them. Blocking the ones that keep you signed in will sign you out and keep you out of the members’ area.
Cookies already in your browser do not disappear when this page changes. The shop’s cookies stay until they expire — up to 400 days for Google Analytics — and your browser sends them to this site until then. Deleting them in your browser removes them at once.
More detail on what we collect and what happens when you delete your account is in our Privacy Policy. Questions: contact us.
