Terms of Service

Membership comes in three tiers — Patriot (monthly), Statesman (annual), and Founding Father (one-time lifetime) — at the prices shown on the pricing page at checkout. Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically until you cancel; you can manage or cancel billing any time from your account page, and cancelling keeps your access through the period you already paid for.

All sales are final. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Where a free trial is offered, it is limited to one trial per person, ever — we enforce this across account deletion and re-registration.

The Founding Father membership includes a physical package shipped to the address you provide, within the timeframe stated in your order confirmation.

Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. At signup you choose an @handle — the public name on your comments. Handles are permanent, one per account, and may not impersonate our writers, staff, or publication. We reserve certain names for that reason, and our staff may change a handle that violates these terms.

Posting comments is for members. Comments on free articles are publicly visible. Do not post harassment, spam, other people’s personal information, or illegal content, and keep it civil — these are the same grounds on which any member can report a comment.

Moderation follows a ladder: content may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be warned, suspended, or banned, depending on severity and history. Removed comments are retired from public view, not silently edited. Every moderation action is recorded with its reason.

A ban for cause does not entitle you to a refund.

You own the comments you write. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display them on the site as part of the conversation they belong to, including in anonymized form if you later delete your account (see the Privacy Policy).

Vault content — video and members-only articles — is for active members and is licensed to you for personal viewing on this site. Do not redistribute, re-record, or share access. Free previews (a 30-second clip, an article excerpt) are provided for evaluation. All site content is owned by Martin Media LLC or its licensors.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. How deletion, restoration, and erasure work — including the 30-day restore window and what is retained — is described in the Privacy Policy.

We work to keep the site fast and available, but it is provided “as is,” without warranties, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
